The mission of the DC Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) is to support and coordinate homeland security and emergency management efforts with federal authorities. HSEMA ensures D.C. emergency operations is prepared to protect against, plan for, respond to, and recover from natural and man-made disasters.HSEMA also serves as the central communications point during regional emergencies to ensures public awareness and access to outreach programs. NAGE represents the Emergency Management Specialists at HSEMA.
