Tragedy Strikes in Orlando

On early Sunday morning, June 12, 2016, a mass shooting took place at an Orlando night club leaving 50 people dead and 53 wounded. IAEP locals R4-92 and R5-84, both from the Orlando area, responded to the massacre and provided care to the dying and wounded saving a considerable number of lives.

NAGE National President David J. Holway commented on the tragedy, “My heart goes out to all those who are affected by this disgusting event.” Holway continued, “I am very proud of our members who responded to the call. The community is still in need and I encourage everyone in the area to donate blood for the the victims in need.”
