Stamford EMS Donates Turkeys to Food Bank

IAEP members in Stamford, Connecticut were on the same side of the table with management—when it comes to making sure their neighbors could celebrate Thanksgiving. The paramedics of IAEP Local R1-684 teamed up with Stamford EMS to give 50 turkeys to the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County in time for Thanksgiving.
Pete Kessler, president of Local 684, told a local interviewer, “To be hungry at Thanksgiving is a terrible thing. We take care of people every day; this is one more way for us to serve the community.”

Thanks to Kessler and the Local 684 members for helping their neighbors. You can see more about the story here.
