Officer Safety Advisory: Perimeter Foot Patrols Suspended

The Director of Security for the Trial Court of Massachusetts released the following memo regarding Officer Safety on Wednesday afternoon, please see memo here.  NAGE and the Directory of Security were in contact about this issue, and the memo was sent out shortly after.  All perimeter foot patrols are temporarily suspended, to be “replaced by increased attention to exterior CCTV images.” Officers are advised to remain watchful, and take note of the recently issued FBI warning to be alert for any targeted attacks.  While there are no currently known threats to any MA Trial Court, staff or facilities, all are encouraged to remain attentive.

NAGE would like to thank Director Morrow for implementing this safety measure, in light of the recent events in Baton Rouge and Dallas.
