Nurses with Rural Metro/Bowers Ambulance in San Diego Join NAGE Family

NAGE would like to congratulate the Nurses with Rural Metro/Bowers Ambulance of San Diego who recently voted in favor to join the union.

“We are excited to welcome these nurses into the NAGE family,” said NAGE EMS National Director Phil Petit. “These critical care nurses deserve to negotiate a contract they will be happy with. We admire their drive for improved staff training and safety, along with better working conditions.”

Bowers Ambulance together with Pacific Ambulance (Pacific-Bowers) comprise California's largest independent regional provider of non-emergency interfacility ambulance services, with operations in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego and Riverside counties.  Acquired by Rural/Metro Corporation, Pacific-Bowers continues to expand across California. The nursing staff has extensive experience in their clinical specialties and go above and beyond duties to successfully transport patients to where they need to go.  We are proud to welcome these hard-working professionals to the family.

Congratulations again to these new members on becoming the latest addition for the growing NAGE family.
