New President for IAEP Local R5-077

The votes have been counted and the newest president of IAEP Local R5-077 is Jason Lademann!  Please join us in congratulating Jason on his new position serving Volusia County, FL.

Jason is filling a vacancy left by his predecessor Jon Gorman, who was promoted from the field to a supervisor role at Volusia County EMS (EVAC).  Jason is a charter member of Local R5-077, and has held the positions of vice president and secretary/treasurer.  He will continue to work in the field while completing his degree in Emergency Management.

We would also like to thank Tom Rovegno, Mike Gallimore and IAEP National Representative Ken Skaggs for dedicating their time to work the polls for this election.  Ballots were cast on May 10th and 11th.

National Representative Ken Skaggs will continue to work closely with all the elected leaders and stewards as they strive to protect their members’ rights in the workplace.  The IAEP is excited to move forward with the whole team as we work to prepare for future negotiations and easing the struggles our members face every day.

The American Labor Movement has consistently demonstrated its devotion to the public interest. It is, and has been, good for all America. - John F. Kennedy
