New Contract for Vineland EMS

Vineland, NJ – Congratulations to the EMS professionals of Local R2-75 in Vineland, NJ, who recently ratified a new contract agreement.  The members of this bargaining unit voted unanimously in favor of the new agreement, and the IAEP would like to thank everyone for all of their efforts during this process.

The negotiations process took longer than anticipated, but IAEP Chief Negotiator Richard Anderson and IAEP National Representative Frank Wagner were able to pull through a fair contract.  Members took a pay freeze during the previous contract, citing the city’s financial issues.  After the preceding lack in pay increase, the negotiation team was focused on wage scale, as well as benefits and time off.

There were other benefits gained for the EMS professionals in Vineland.  “Some of the changes made in negotiations will have a positive impact on workplace morale and bring them into the 21st century,” Wagner informed us.  “We are pleased these hardworking EMS professionals will finally get some of the workplace rights that they deserve.”

IAEP wishes to congratulate Vineland EMS, and looks forward to continue working with them in the future.
