NAGE Federal Training: Overview of the Reasonable Accommodation Process

The NAGE/IBPO Federal/DC Division invites all local officers and members to participate in webinar training on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 1:00pm EST, concerning an Overview of the Reasonable Accommodation Process – This webinar will address the laws regarding accommodations for employees with qualified disabilities, what constitutes a qualified disability, how to request a reasonable accommodation, processing the request, medical information and confidentiality requirements, and examples of reasonable accommodations.

Although the laws are constantly being amended regarding qualified disabilities, this training will provide a working knowledge of how to direct individuals through reasonable accommodation process regardless of the impairment and what remedies are available to employees if the request for accommodation is denied.
