Members of IAEP Local 87 Participate in Hockey Game for Children’s Hospital

On Sunday, March 8, members of IAEP Local 87 of Elizabeth, NJ joined the city’s police and fire departments in a hockey game benefiting Children’s Specialized Hospital. These professionals seek to raise at least $10,000 for the Mountainside Hospital.

Over 100 spectators came to watch the spectacle raising over $7,000 towards their goal.   Proceeds will go to Children’s Specialized Hospital’s Friday Night Fever program, a monthly social and recreational program for teenagers with disabilities.

“It’s always great to see our members take part in events like this,” said IAEP National Director Phil Petit. “We are so proud of these professionals who take time out of their busy lives to raise money for such a great cause.”
