Member of IAEP R7-167 Wins Dispatcher of the Year

At this year’s Navigator Education Conference, The International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) acknowledged outstanding telecommunications for their work. EMD James Domeier with Allina Health EMS Communication Center and IAEP R7-167 member received the Dispatcher of the Year award. He is a specialist first class with the Minnesota Army National Guard and is currently deployed to Egypt, so he could not be present to accept his award. Domeier is also the newly elected Dispatch representative to the IAEP R7-167 E-board.

“What an honor,” said IAEP Local R7-167 President Brett Hopper. “We are so proud of James for receiving this award. It’s great to see one of our own recognized for his teamwork.”

The IAED has over 57,000 members in over 45 countries.  More than 3,000 communication centers in 21 languages employ IAED’s protocols and training in medical, fire, police, and emergency nurse triage dispatching. It is the most standard-setting, certification-granting organization for emergency communications.

Congratulations to James Domeier again from everyone here at the IAEP! Our members continue to make us proud every day and we thank you for all of your selfless hard work.
