Local R1-717 Enfield EMS Holds Charity Golf Tournament

This past Saturday, September 12, IAEP Local R1-717 Enfield EMS located in Enfield, Connecticut held its first Charity Golf Tournament at Topstone Golf Course in South Windsor, Connecticut.

All proceeds are going to a scholarship fund for any graduating senior from Enfield High School who will be attending a College or University working towards any Public Safety Degree. Approximately 40 golfers attended, representing IAEP, IAFF, Enfield Police, Enfield Fire, Glastonbury Police, Bay State Medical Center and many more.

“There was a buffet dinner that followed with numerous raffle prizes donated by many of the local businesses,” said IAEP National Representative Philip Roche. “The IAEP got to show off the new logo design which was placed on the first tee.”

The hole was also sponsored by Roche. The IAEP is always proud to see locals taking time out of their busy lives to hold such events that will benefit students. Congratulations on such a successful event!
