IBPO Responds to Reading Select Board Members Comment

Update:  The member of the Reading, MA Select Board that called into question the integrity of the Reading Police Force back in February has lost their bid for re-election to the Select Board.  While the Police Department played no part in supporting any candidate for the position, the outpouring of support that has resulted from the incident has been humbling. 

"The public support that we have received over the past month has been nothing short of overwhelming.  We appreciate the confidence that our community has shown in us," stated a representative of the Reading Police Supervisors and Patrol Officers Union.
