IAEP Local 77 Helps Family after Devastating Fire

This week members of IAEP Local 77 organized donations for a Daytona Beach family whose home set fire on March 15, 2017.

Daytona Beach News-Journal reported that it took firefighters over an hour to battle the flames, which took the family’s pet dog along with their possessions. On March 27, 11 large bags of everyday items donated by IAEP Local 77 members and their families were delivered to the family.

Below is a Facebook post from Volusia County EMS:

“On the afternoon of March 15, 2017 a family of three, including a young child, lost everything in a house fire in Daytona Beach. To help the family, the paramedics and EMTs of Local 77 and their families donated a multitude of items, including clothing, footwear, and toiletries. This week, those donations, which filled 11 large bags, were delivered to the family as they begin their road to rebuilding and recovery.”

The IAEP is extremely proud of the work our members do for their communities, both on and off duty.
