House Ways and Means Committee Releases FY20 Budget Proposal

On Wednesday, The House Ways and Means Committee released its FY 20 Budget Proposal.  You can access the budget by following this link:
There is some good news to report.  First, the House has not proposed any changes to the GIC premium structure, preserving the current splits for active and retired state employees.  Additionally, the House did not include the Governors proposal to cap sick time at 1000 hours for all employees.  The House is expected to debate their version of the budget during the week of April 22.  Please stay tuned for any updates as the budget moves to the Senate next month!
