Friday, January 30: Pay Raise Day!

Friday, January 30 is the day NAGE members in units 1, 3, 6 and MassDOT will see the first pay raises of the new contract in their paychecks. Most members will receive a 3% annual increase, but the guaranteed minimum annual raise of $1,700 will work out to as much as 6% for those members in the lowest-paid job titles.

“The local presidents pushed hard for economic justice for our members, especially for the members who work in the jobs that pay the least. I want to remind everyone what tremendous work they did at the negotiating table on behalf of the women and men they represent,” said David J. Holway, NAGE national president.

In October, NAGE members will receive the same pay raise—3% with an annual $1,700 floor. That works out to a 6% pay raise in calendar 2015 for most NAGE members, and as much as 12% for members in the lowest-paid titles.
