EMS Professionals with Spotswood EMS of New Jersey Join IAEP Family.

IAEP would like to congratulate the EMS professionals with Spotswood EMS of New Jersey who recently voted in favor to join the union.

“We are proud to welcome these new members to our union,” said NAGE EMS National Representative Frank Wagner. “These employees have been wanting a change for a while and we are excited to get to the bargaining table to see what we can do for these individuals.”

Spotswood EMS has been a municipal EMS service for over seven years and members have not been happy with their salary, benefits or working conditions. As a union, the IAEP is working to turn these aspects around and better their future as EMS professionals.

“These men and women deserve to negotiate a contract they will be happy with,” said NAGE EMS National Director Phil Petit. “We are pleased to see these members take an active role in their workplace through their vote to unionize and we look forward to making them a stronger force.”

Congratulations again to these new members on becoming the latest addition to the growing IAEP family.
