Court Officers Control Chaos At Lawrence Bail Hearing

The Court Officers at Lawrence District Court had a scene of chaos in front of them at a bail hearing on September 11, 2017.  

Tensions were high as the defendant pleaded not guity to a fatal hit and run last Thursday night.  The defendant is charged with the death of 11-year-old Jadee Diaz, whose entire family was present at the bail hearing.  

The court officers had to hold back enraged relatives after bail was set, and were able to take swift actions to restore calm.  We would like thank the Lawrence District Court Officers for keeping their cool, and working quickly and effectively.
