BREAKING: Victory in Cumberland County NJ

April Jordanson of Region 2, Local 75 in Cumberland County, New Jersey who was terminated on February 25, 2016 will be back to work effective Monday July 11th.

IAEP local representative Frank Wagner was able to reach a settlement agreement with management after a departmental hearing on June 14, 2016. Mrs. Jordanson was reprimanded for failure to respond to an emergency call, IAEP’s legal team was able to show that that was not the case.

IAEP attorney Karen Betournay led the charge on Mrs. Jordanson’s behalf. IAEP National Director Phil Petit commented, “This developing situation is the perfect example of what strong resources and leadership can do to help our members,” Director Petit continued, “From the local leaders to National Representative Frank Wagner, the union’s hard work and diligence from day one of this disciplinary situation resulted in a strong argument and the right result.  I am proud of our members and the successful work on this case from start to finish.”

The IAEP is encouraged to see the decision fall in Mrs. Jordanson’s favor and we are glad to have her back as a member of our family.
