Alameda County Members Elect First Local Executive Board

Alameda County, CA - NAGE EMS members working for Paramedics Plus in Alameda County, California recently voted to elect their first ever local Executive Board in county history.

NAGE EMS National Director Phil Petit congratulated the newly elected officers, noting that, "It has been a long road for the Alameda county EMS professionals. Their efforts have resulted in what can only be considered a maximum landslide win (209-30) to oust their previous representation in favor of NAGE EMS. However, the wait has been worth it for the members as this is the first time that these hard working EMT's and paramedics have full autonomy with national support and resources."
The following newly elected officers will work to make this local stronger within the workplace and beyond.

Leon Savino
Vice President
Todd Sensiba
Katrina Hamilton
Matt Hamilton
Chief Shop Steward
Nate Merritt
President Leon Savino is looking forward to his new role with pride and optimism, stating, "NAGE EMS is the only EMS union that we trust to provide us with the tools and resources to accomplish our goals of improving EMS in Alameda County and I'm proud to serve my members as their president to get the job done."
Congratulations to all the officers on their election and to the hard working EMS professionals of Alameda County who will now have national representation!
