NAGE R3-10 and FAA Tentatively Agree to New CBA

The National Association of Government Employees, Local R3-10 and the Federal Aviation Administration tentatively agreed to a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) on Monday, December, 16, 2013.

The Parties' began bargaining the new agreement in March of 2013 and met for two week blocks throughout the summer and early fall to come to this agreement. The Contract rewrote much of the existing CBA. This new CBA incorporates many of the advances other Union's have made at the FAA and secures much deserved pay raises for the members of NAGE R3-10 during each year of the Contract.

These raises are in addition to any pay raises that are passed by Congress and signed into law by the President. The contract was negotiated by former president Emily Harvey, current President Alan Raffo, current Vice President Dustin Rardon and current Treasurer James Clarke, with the assistance of National Representative and Assistant Regional Counsel Robert Shore.

The NAGE Federal Division would like to commend NAGE R3-10 on reaching an agreement with management during this tough financial time, while fighting to improve the working conditions for NAGE R3-10 bargaining unit employees. The Agreement awaits ratification by membership.
